Executive Coaching Executive coaching and personal coaching are becoming increasingly popular and can have significant benefits for both the individual being coached and his or her organisation. So what do they offer and what's the difference? Executive coaching is about working with an individual to maximise effectiveness in the workplace whilst in theory personal coaching is on a wider front and can reach into areas outside the workplace. In practice we find the boundary between the two a mirage. Executive coaching, for it to be effective, has to take into account all the factors affecting the individual and to balance all areas of life. It is very difficult to be effective in the workplace if the rest of your life is in disarray and so we usually (but not always) find that we work not just on executive coaching but also on personal coaching as well |
